This class deals with advanced topics as students continue to examine the ways telecommunications can be utilized in education. Students will understand the technical considerations of connectivity and differentiate types of telecommunications connections. Students will further explore and use a wider variety of Internet services, such as a chat, online conferencing and discussion groups. Issues of publishing content on the World Wide Web will be addressed. Students will also plan and implement instructional activities that integrate telecommunications into the curriculum, as well as discuss staff development and grants.
